Finding the fountain of youth

· 0 comments · Friend in the Closet

nerium-2bottle day and nightBeing exposed to many different cosmetics over the years I discovered universally “we all want to believe in some form of magic to give us back the youthful skin we had in our teens, twenties and so on”. In truth and science, genetics ultimately plays a big role in how our skin will appear long term however, being aware early can’t hurt slowing down the inevitable.
First on the list, find a dermatologist you can start a relationship with as over time your skin will change and any oddities will be noticed with yearly visits. The relationship with a dermatologist you trust, mine, Dr. Ava Shamban can save your life. They know what skin cancers look like and where they hide on the skin. What may look normal may be something abnormal. Not worth the risk. Coming from experience, my Dad was diagnosed with a deadly skin cancer that generally appears on or around the neck, thats the norm for the cancer he had, in his case it was found on his pinky finger and mis diagnoised. Find a Dr you can trust and depend on.
When a good friend recently exposed and encouraged me to try a product she promised would give back some of the elasticity I’d lost with sun damage and age, I said ok I’m listening. The product Nerium. Skeptically, I plunged in and at $140.00 a bottle for the night cream I admit I had expectations. With much delight I noticed a change in my skin within the first week. The product boast many things that I’m not a scientific expert with the knowledge to say whether the information is true or false. My experience as yours would be is individual therefore I’d say take a look at the site and decide whether to try or skip.
Personally I use the product exclusively, or mix back with other favorites, maintain a healthy “lifestyle” diet and stay open minded for new and interesting products appearing daily on the shelves or online. For now though Nerium has my attention.
I continue to support the injectable world with visit to Dr.Ava as frequently as needed but honest, using the Nerium has extended the time between visits and making a little difference to my pocketbook. Lets face if, I’m not giving up the Botox, Sculptra, Restylane, Juvederm, Collegen or the many other choices of filler products Dr Ava feels will best preserve my youth but I do love my Nerium.
Good luck and please share what works for you.
